Sound Summit returns to the historic Mountain Theater at Mount Tamalpais on September 9. Held as an annual celebration and fundraiser for Mount Tamalpais State Park by Roots & Branches Conservancy, the music festival has donated $250,000 to date, with funds recently going to the restoration of the Steep Ravine Trail. This year’s performers include Brokedown in Bakersfield, Sierra Ferrell and Marin’s own Vinyl.
