What is the mission of the company?
Outerknown, which was founded in 2015 by creative director John Moore and pro surfer Kelly Slater, has a mission to not only craft beautiful, lasting wardrobe staples, but to protect natural resources, empower the people making the clothes, and inspire change within the industry and beyond.
Is anything special happening at the Marin store?
Outerknown’s hero products will be curated for Marin, which will include the extremely popular Blanket Shirt, S.E.A. JEANS + jumpsuits, sweatpants + sweatshirts made with Climate Beneficial™ cotton, T-shirts made with Regenerative Organic Certified® cotton, Apex Trunks by Kelly Slater made with recycled polyester and more. The new Marin retail space has been thoughtfully and responsibly customized.
What unique specials are you offering for the holidays?
We have free embroidery on all Outerknown items at our Marin Country Mart store, which makes for a perfect personalized gift.
