Dr. Lisa Santora has been appointed as Marin’s new Public Health Officer, to succeed Dr. Matt Willis upon his retirement in September. Prior to this appointment, Santora served as the county’s Deputy Public Health Officer. “I’ve had the privilege of working side by side with Dr. Santora for eight years, and I know we’re in excellent hands under her leadership,” says Willis. Of her plans for this new position, Santora says, “By fostering collaboration and embracing innovation, we can create a brighter, healthier and more equitable future for everyone in our county.”
