Beginning January 1, the thousands of cyclists who cross the Golden Gate Bridge daily must be mindful of their speed, adhering to a 15-mph speed limit or risking a hefty fine of $238 to $490.
The Marin County Bicycle Coalition supports these regulations, noting this speed limit is in line with existing speed limits on other Bay Area trails.
