Rancho Nicasio is hosting BBQs on The Lawn on September 3, 4, 10, 17 and 24, with live music, dinner and dancing making up each evening event. Ticket price is for admission only, but food and beverages will be available for purchase. The final days of Paint Sausalito: the First Annual Plein Air Show and Paint Out at Sausalito Center for the Arts will come to an end on September 10. The exhibit features the work of 16 renowned artists, highlighting their unique plein air styles, which refers to an artist’s ability to paint outdoors amid shifting light and cloud patterns. On Saturday, September 17, Larkspur’s Piper Park will be home to Marin Dog Fest. Held to benefit Roots of Peace, this free event features contests, prizes, a fun run and free dog massages, but an additional $15 offers access to local food through Taste of Marin.
