The San Rafael City Council has approved a tax cut for cannabis delivery operators. Through December 2024, cannabis delivery businesses in the city will pay a 2 percent special business tax, a reduction from 4 percent. “Here in San Rafael, the cannabis delivery services have seen some early success, but with increased regulation and taxation at the state level, it is becoming more challenging,” says San Rafael mayor Kate Colin of the council’s decision.
