New investments are being made in Marin City. Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed a budget trailer bill that will allocate $3 million to the Marin City Community Services District to remodel its community center. The district has long hoped for funding to build a swimming pool and to revitalize the community center to host programming and services. An additional $10 million included in a separate budget trailer bill will address the community’s flooding issues.
